Abstract
This paper presents the design behind a graphical interface that integrates the entire data-anonymisation process — risk assessment, application of protection methods, and utility evaluation — into a single feedback-driven workflow. Its central idea is a feedback system that continuously reports how each anonymisation decision changes both disclosure risk and data utility, helping users navigate the trade-off interactively rather than blindly. By making the consequences of each step transparent, the interface supports more informed and reproducible anonymisation. Published in Algorithms, the work formalises the interaction model underlying the sdcApp and sdcMicro tooling.
