About SwissAnon
The Swiss Data Anonymization Center — turning statistical disclosure control theory into methods organisations can trust.
Mission
We turn statistical disclosure control from academic theory into methods organisations can trust — developing, validating, publishing, and teaching anonymization. Every method we publish includes the code and evidence needed to re-run it: risk is measured, not asserted.
Governance & independence
SwissAnon is a research centre anchored at FHNW (Institute for Competitiveness and Communication, ICC), led by Prof. Dr. Matthias Templ and Prof. Dr. Murat Sariyar, working as a network with researchers at BFH, UZH and ZHAW. Its flagship SNF Bridge Discovery grant runs through FHNW (PI Templ, FHNW; co-PI Sariyar, BFH).
