Abstract
sdcApp is a Shiny-based graphical user interface that exposes the full sdcMicro anonymisation workflow — from importing data and selecting key variables to applying protection methods and assessing disclosure risk and information loss — without requiring the user to write R code. By lowering the technical barrier, it lets subject-matter experts and statistical-agency staff carry out reproducible disclosure control through a guided, interactive interface. The application reports risk and utility side by side so the effect of each protection step is immediately visible. Presented at the NTTS conference, sdcApp ships with sdcMicro and is widely used for hands-on training in statistical disclosure control.
