This contribution describes the integration of the International Household Survey Network (IHSN) C++ routines into the sdcMicro R package, together with the systematic testing that accompanied it. Performance-critical disclosure-control operations were re-implemented in compiled code and exposed through R, giving analysts faster perturbation and risk-estimation methods without leaving their usual environment. The work also broadened sdcMicro’s method coverage and verified the new routines against existing implementations for correctness. Presented at Privacy in Statistical Databases, it helped establish sdcMicro as a practical, reliable toolset for anonymising survey microdata in statistical agencies, including the low-resource settings supported by the IHSN.
